If you'd like to keep other people's Gmail pictures off of your Gmail pages, you can turn them off by using only those pictures that you've selected for them yourself.
- Sign in to Gmail at mail.google.com.
- Click Settings.
- In the Contacts' pictures section, select Only show pictures that I've chosen for my contacts.
- Click Save Changes.
If you haven't selected any pictures for your contacts, you won't see any pictures in your Gmail interface.
