Adding contact details

When you send mail, Gmail automatically creates a contact for each new email address you've entered.

If you'd like to add contact details for any of your contacts (like an address or phone number), follow these steps:
  1. Click the Contacts link in Gmail.
  2. Check the box next to the contact entry where you'd like to add additional information.
  3. Click the Edit button.
  4. Enter the information you'd like in the provided fields. If you have something in mind other than what the fields indicate, you can click More Information to add notes.
  5. Click Save
