RSS and Atom feeds

Print
Many websites use RSS (Really Simple Syndication) and Atom feeds to send updated headlines to their users via services similar to Web Clips. All sorts of web sites and publishers produce feeds - newspapers often publish feeds of daily headlines or breaking news stories, magazines might publish feeds about top stories, and other sites use feeds to alert customers to new products, upcoming events, or other important information.

Web Clips offers a list of feeds from popular sites (including the New York Times, CNN, and many others), or you can add your own.
