If you're using Internet Explorer 7.0 (IE7) and your computer slows or your CPU usage spikes during or immediately after signing in to Gmail, the cause is likely to be McAfee Site Advisor.

While we work to resolve the issue, please use these steps to resolve the problem:

1. Open IE7.
2. Click the arrow on the SiteAdvisor toolbar icon.
3. In the SiteAdvisor menu, click Do not warn list....
4. In the SiteAdvisor dialog box add google.com.
5. Click close.
6. Close IE7.
7. Open IE and log into Gmail.
